Cascate di Laxapana

Le cascate di Laxapana hanno un'altezza di 126 metri. Ciò la renderebbe l'ottava cascata più alta del paese, superata solo da colossi come Dunhinda e Babarakanda Falls. Si trova a Nuwara Eliya, nella zona di Maskeliya, proprio accanto a un piccolo villaggio chiamato Kiriwan Eliya, per l'esattezza. Le cascate di Laxapana sono formate dal Maskeliya Oya, proprio nella misura in cui si forma con il Kehelgamu Oya per formare il famoso fiume Kelani.
