Entering from the Menikdena Tank side, visitors are greeted by six wide granite steps flanked by guard stones and a blank moonstone. A granite pillar inscription on the right adds an air of mystery. The stupa, built on a large high platform, reveals unique features, with only one Buddha statue remaining in a reasonably good state.

The chapter house's massive stone pillars stand majestically, reflecting the architectural prowess of the past. The Arboretum, spanning 14 hectares, further enhances the site's allure.
