Sitting at Sri Lanka’s southern tip near the Dondra Head Lighthouse, this spot is a right-hand reef that turns on with proper groundswell. It’s more exposed and fickle than nearby bays, but when it works you’ll score clean walls with a real ocean feel.

• Tuk-tuk or scooter is easiest. Parking is limited near the lighthouse green; arrive early.
• Entry is usually from the rocks—time your jump carefully and watch a few sets first.
