Kotte Rajamaha Viharaya is situated away from the hustle and bustle of Nugegoda town. A 20-minute drive towards the Pita-Kotte junction leads to Kotte Raja Maha Vihara, one of the city's ancient temples. The tranquility of the temple beckoned us on a journey towards a life full of peace and happiness. As it was nearly twilight, the temple was filled with a significant number of worshippers. The light from oil lamps and the fragrance of incense sticks transported us to an unexpected realm.
