Similar to a cathedral, the Mosque has stained glass windows and an immaculate atrium. Moreover, it highlights an ornately decorated mihrab at the centre of the structure. The Mosque’s floor is also decorated with vibrantly painted ceramic tiles, and it features little decorative roofs.
Being a famous building located within the Galle Fort, it is assumed to have been established over 300 years ago.
