Sunandarama Maha Viharaya Temple is situated near the city of Ambalangoda. Temple is a highly prestigious and renowned temple established back in 1970.
Sunandarama Maha Viharaya has a story that dates back to the 18th hundred BC. In the past, this site was a residency to nuns, and it is recorded that in 1750 the “Bodhi” was established in this place. The statue house in this place is the several antique architectures associated with the Kandyan period.
