How to reach Colombo

✈ By Air

Most international visitors land at බණ්ඩාරනායක ජාත්‍යන්තර ගුවන් තොටුපළ (CMB) in Katunayake, about 35 km from Colombo. From the airport, you can take a taxi, shuttle service, or ride-hailing apps like PickMe and Uber, which take around 45 minutes to 1 hour to reach the city. Budget travelers can use airport buses that operate regularly to Colombo Fort.

🚍 බස් රථයෙන්

Colombo is well connected by an extensive bus network. Direct buses run frequently from major cities such as Kandy, Galle, Jaffna, and Anuradhapura. Long-distance buses usually stop at the Pettah bus stand, close to the city center.
