From Colombo or Horana, taxis and ride-hailing services (like PickMe) can be used to reach Ingiriya within 1.5–2 hours via the Horana–Bulathsinhala–Ingiriya route.

La Ingiriya Railway Station is part of the Kelani Valley Line. Although not a major junction, it connects Avissawella et Colombo, offering a slow yet picturesque journey through rubber plantations and paddy fields.
