Upali is the brainchild of Mr Upali Dharmadasa, a highly regarded industrialist and prominent figure in Sri Lanka's business community. With decades of experience and business management expertise, Upali has significantly contributed to various sectors. Notably, he has played a pivotal role in Sri Lanka's cricketing arena as the former President of the Board of Control for Cricket in Sri Lanka (BCCSL) and the President of Sri Lanka Cricket. Additionally, Upali currently holds the position of Chairman of Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation Ltd. (SLIC).
