Be prepared, as the road conditions may not suit low-profile vehicles. For day-trippers, leaving your car on the roadside is a convenient option.

Local villagers are a valuable source of guidance when finding your way to Bopaththalawa. Mentioning "Bopath Thalawa" when asking for advice is essential, as "Haritha Kanda" might not be familiar to them. After passing the town, head towards Bogawana Estate and cross a bridge to spot the Bogawana Tea Factory.
