Description
The mini-Worlds End here has a 360- degree view of the surrounding peaks and towns and makes it one of the best places in Sri Lanka for a panoramic view of mountains. On a clear day, the peaks of nine mountains, including the country’s tallest Piduruthalagala and second tallest Kirigalpoththa, can be seen from here. Other’s that can be seen are Single Tree, Kikiliyamana, Great Western, Konical Hill, Thotupola Mountain, Hakgala and Namunukula mountains. A total of 105 bird species, of which 16 are endemic, have been recorded in the area which is also home to wild boar and deer.
