Chamal Rajapaksha Agro Technology and Tourism Park
The Chamal Rajapaksha Agro Technology and Tourism Park in Bataatha is a significant landmark in Sri Lanka's agricultural landscape. Established in 2008, this park serves as the second Agro Technology Park in the country, embodying the concept of a green park. It was conceptualized by the former Agriculture Minister, Mr. Chamal Rajapaksha, and Dr. Rohan Wijekoon, the former Director General of Agriculture, with the primary goal of benefiting farmers.
