Conceived by veteran designer Athula Herath—a pioneer who introduced lifelike figure sculpting to Sri Lanka—the museum will showcase beloved Sri Lankan personalities alongside global icons including Hollywood and Bollywood film stars, legendary musicians, scientists, and athletes.
The Colombo Wax Museum is scheduled to open to the public in October at Arcade Independence Square, Colombo, positioning itself as a world-class attraction for both local and international visitors.
