Alliance Air Adds Chennai-Jaffna Flights

The operations will resume on 12 th of December in 2022, with four weekly flights between Jaffna and Chennai. Before the service, Sri Lankans in the Northern region had to travel to the capital Colombo by train or a nearly eight-hour-road trip to take a flight out of the country.
The resumption of Chennai-Jaffna flight operations is excellent news for the people living in and near Jaffna in the Northern Province. Chennai to Jaffna Flight Details

Four weekly flights will resume on December 12 and operate on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. The flights depart from Jaffna at 11:50 and arrive in Chennai at 13:15, and the return flights leave Chennai at 9:25 am and arrive in Jaffna at 10:50.

Now travellers can book Jaffna to Chennai or Chennai to Jaffna through Alliance Air.
