At the Nugasewana ( Anglican Cathedral Premises), a cultural vision adorned with Udarata, Pahatharara, and Sabaragamuwa dance traditions was held to increase the appeal of Sri Lankan cultural aspects to foreign tourists visiting the capital. According to the organisers, the event will go for almost an hour every Wednesday starting at 6:00 p.m.
An initiative to showcase the nation’s culture to tourists from other countries was started and launched by Transcend Drive (Pvt) Ltd; the project has been launched to hold a planned cultural presentation every week to benefit foreigners and the ex-pat community equally in expectation of the anticipated uptick in travellers visits.
