Weerawila Birds Sanctuary – Tissamaharamaya
Weerawila Bird Sanctuary is where the most amazing animals come to gather. Birds fans, Weerawila Bird Sanctuary, is located in southern Sri Lanka near Tissamaharamaya and claims two main reservoirs; the Weerawila reservoir and the Tissa reservoir. Thousands of migratory birds come to the sanctuary to roost and nest each year.
