Our 15-day motorcycle trip through Sri Lanka continues on day six, taking riders to the country’s heart and Habarana via the cute town of Kantale. This part of the trip offers beautiful scenery and a look into the colourful culture of central Sri Lanka.

Riders leave Trincomalee and go on a beautiful road to Kantale, known for its peaceful surroundings and many trees. As riders go through Kantale, they can enjoy a fabulous break that gives them time to relax. The day’s ride ends in Habarana, a town surrounded by famous natural and cultural places. Participants get to stay in Habarana for two nights, giving them plenty of time to enjoy its beauty.

On day seven, you first go to Sigiriya early in the morning. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and an old rock castle. Climbing up the ancient rock fortress as the sun rises gives you a unique view and a sense of achievement. People participating can climb up the rock and enjoy stunning views of the surrounding scenery. And a traditional Harbal massage in the middle of the day to unwind after the Sigirya climb. 

You can visit some of Sri Lanka’s most famous cultural places from Habarana. These include the Minneriya National Park, the Dambulla Cave Temple, and the Dambulla Market. During their two-night stay, participants will have enough time to see these amazing sights.
