Raid Amazones 23rd edition, a popular annual adventure trail from France, will be held in Sri Lanka in the legendary Kandy, Famous Tea Plantations, from March 19 to 29, 2023.
Altogether, over 600 female French athletes are wished to attend the challenge, including the participants, officials and representatives of global media organizations covering the event.
The event features participants competing for their way through various challenges such as canoeing, riding, running, mountain biking, and archery through exotic tea plantations in the region of origin of Ceylon tea.
In March 2023, Alexandre Debanne and the entire ZBO team officially launched the 23rd edition. The Raid Amazones more than a trip; it’s an adventure to live!
Raid Amazones will be holding its 23rd sporting event in Kandy, with Sri Lankan Airlines emerging as the official Airline partner in association with the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau and Connaissance de Ceylan.

Location Overview
Kandy is the last Singhalese Royal Kingdom of Sri Lanka, with panoramic geography encircled by attractive peaks discovered in the centre of the aisle, placed 1,600 feet above Sea Level. The city is well known for the Sacred Tooth Relic Temple, the most revered Buddhist Temple and The Royal Botanic Gardens, with more than 4,000 marked species of flora.
